Welcome 2006!

NEW YEAR GREETINGS!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season ... and that NYE was fun ... or peaceful ... or whatever you needed it to be. I just pray that it brought in a year full of hope and joy for each of you!

Now, as we start into 2006, I hope that we can continue on and maintain the relationships that we developed over the past year. To help in that effort, I have updated The Adventurous Hearts website ... and there are lots of new pics and features that I think you will enjoy. Please take a look at it ... and I'll look forward to receiving more pics and input from those of you who are active Bloggers and Bloggettes.

Click here - to go to the AH Website: http://www.theadventuroushearts.com

Be sure to check out the 'Fulfilling our Dreams' page - which is a page that provides free Ads to give everyone an opportunity to get involved in doing business with others in our group. If you have info that you would like to have posted - please send an Email to the link provided on that page ... and give me any pics, links or copy that you would like to have included. I think this is a great way to support each other ... and I am excited that we can provide this on our website. I'll have info from Cheryl (Canadian Bloggette) and Connie (DancinGirl) soon too. So keep checking back for updates.

Another new site - is the AH Blog! Because so many people have become so 'scattered' - I thought it would be good to have a Blog - that could be a central meeting point for everyone - and not necessarily associated with one person or personality.

Check out the new AH Blog at: http://adventuroushearts.blogspot.com/ - and please pass on to others who might be interested in keeping in touch. And we'll have some timely and lively discussions ... with input from all of you!

And, of course, my Blog will still be here ... and Francesca's ... and many others have their own individual Blogs as well. It would be nice - if people have something special to share - if they could post a message on the AH Blog - so that people would know to go to their Blog to check it out. Might make it a bit easier. Hopefully.

Best wishes for this New Year!!

Brenda aka Click Girl

Happy New Year Y'all!!!
In response to Francesca's comment re Baby Boomers:
Personally speaking....
When I turned 50 I decided to count all my birthdays backwards from that day forward....therefore today I would be 45!! not bad eh??
Hey....it works!!
By the time I am 18 (again!!) I will be acting just like a teenager,
by the time I am 13 (again!!) I will be acting like a pre- pubescent child
by the time I am 6 (again!!)) I will be losing my teeth
and by the time I am 3 (again... god forbid!!)
I will be in diapers!!!
so...........try it..you'll see it works...depends (get it? LOL!!) on your perspective!!

Seriously....Wishing you all the best of health, happiness, life and love in the New Year and always!!!
love y'all

does anyone know what's up with babette? i tried to access her blogsite last nite and today, and it's taken down. then i sent her an email just now, and it came back saying the address is closed. i was just wondering if everything's ok with her?

I emailed Babette this morning to see what's up with her. If I get a reply, I'll let you all know.

I had a nice New Year's Eve - a coffee date in the afternoon and out with friends in the evening. Today, we celebrated my darling grandson's 2nd birthday. When I get some photos, I'll post them on my blog. Have a great day everyone!

Hi Brenda & everyone,
A Happy New Year to all of you! And in the peace and quiet let's all take time to count our blessings! We certainly have an abundance of them.
We've all been busy throughout the holidays and I've missed everyone. I am counting the days before our Great Escape in February and hoping that it will give, those of us in the cold climates, a chance to charge up our bodies with sunshine and vitamin D. Check with Brenda if you are interested in joining us.
I hope everyone came through the holidays with not gaining too much weight with all that rich food and drink. Here in the Midwest it has been very balmy and no ice and snow to make it dangerous driving as in some years past.
Let's hope that everyone stays in touch now and keeps the connections that are so deeply within us.
Hugs,
Chandra

Cheryl,
I love your idea on counting backwards and when February comes I will gladly do that. I have always known that the mind doesn't age...so what's it going to be like when we are teens in an old body? Our reflexes aren't so hot and the mind tends to dwell on the long term memory and we can recall everything we did years ago but we can't find our car keys. Our caskets will be full of fake body parts. Our future generation will wonder if we were robots? See what happens when I have time on my hands?
Hugs,
Chandra

Welcome back Francesca! Good to see you back again! Hope things settle down for you ... and that 2006 is kinder and gentler for you!

Thank you Enid! Same right back at you!! I'm really, really looking forward to being down your way in February ... and hope we are all able to get together! Would be such fun!!

And Cheryl ... so excited for you ... as you begin a new year with such hope and love before you! How happy I am for you!

Best wishes to you Sylvia! Hope 2006 will be full of good things in your life! And thanks for mentioning about Babette! I haven't seen a post from her since November 22nd. I'll check my Email - as I have a couple of different addresses for her - and will write to her as well. I hope everything is okay with her! If anyone hears from Babette - please let us know! Thanks much!!

Hi Leslie! Sounds like you had a great end to the year with special moments with friends and family. Good for you! I have a surprise for you on the AH Website! Check out the 'Support our Bloggettes' page ... and let me know what you think!! : )

Thanks much, Willy! Same to you! Great to hear from you! Hope this is a wonderful year for you as well!!

Hi Ada. Happy New Year to you! I posted the links to the Website and Blog on the front page of my Blog - so you can just click on those - and they will take you right to the sites. Sometimes - if a link is long, the full address cuts off on the Blog. As everyone has their computer set up differently, it would be difficult to know why some things show on my screen - and not yours ... but I hope having it on the front page will help. Just click on my 'clickgirl' name to go to that page.

Hi Chandra! Good to see you back as well. Guess most of us have been busy, busy, busy!! Now ... we are on the 40 day countdown to Playa! Can't wait!! The days will not go fast enough! We are going to have a blast!!

Thanks to Everyone ... for hanging in here while I've been so busy ... and while my computer was down! Glad to be back again ... and hopefully will have a little more time - though it's still going to be a bit hectic as I wrap up several projects before leaving for Mexico. But ... I won't be doing much traveling ... and have no events to produce (just four videos and one CD-Rom) between now and February 11th ... so that will make it a little easier for me to stay in touch! I've missed being on the Blogs. It's just not as much fun reading ... and not having time to respond to everyone! : )

Happy New Year ... to All!!

hi brenda, i absolutely love the adventurous hearts blogsite and the advertisement you did for leslie and her future book.

also, there is a later post for babette than the one you mentioned. she posted on the blog before this one on Dec 20th at 11:35 am. there hasn't been a post since then. i do hope everything's ok also.

Thanks Sylvia and Ada! I've been having fun getting things updated! Just added some great photos from Carol aka Travelin - on the AH Website. Also added a 'Blog Help' page - with instructions for posting photos, how to shut off Blog comments, etc. It has lots of new pages and 'stuff'. : )

Ada - I'm not sure how I would make the Blog 'printer friendly'. I haven't seen any such option. The best I can offer is to copy the data into a word document. Maybe that would work?

You are so right ... so many people haven't been 'around' lately ... though Wanda regularly posts on Francesca's Blog. I do think that people are busy over the holidays - and Blogging is a lower priority. I know that I was in that situation ... just too much to do and not enough time. I think things might pick back up again ... now that 'the season' is over. I'm going to send out an Email to let everyone know about the AH Web & Blog ... and maybe that will stir up some interest.

Thanks Sylvia - for the update on Babette's posts. I didn't notice the December one - though I thought November seemed like an awful long time - so December is better! I'll let you know if I hear anything!

Take care All!

Brenda

Hi All!

Sylvia was asking about Babette ... and so I sent her an Email and it bounced back (as did Sylvia's). Her Blog is not available either ... so, like Sylvia, I am a little concerned about her too. Hope that everything is okay ... and if anyone has contact with her ... please pass on that we miss her!

Warm regards,
Brenda

Hi Brenda et al I sent Babette an email, too, but it hasn't bounced back. I'm just waiting to see if she answers. Will let you all know if I get a response.

THANKS BRENDA! Wow! What a wonderful surprise and gift you have given me! I did get a few women who are interested in working with me re their stories. But that was SO awesome of you to put it on the Support Our Blogettes page. I think I will try to make a separate blog on my own site for that. THANKS AGAIN.

Hi everyone,
I am up in Cental Florida and just checked out all of Brenda's hard work. Wow! Thank you Brenda for sharing the photos and the words you accompanied them with. So I hope everyone enjoys them. Grams and I had a blast. She doesn't like staying home any more than I do. I have finally shed the extra pounds that collected on my body this summer. It's amazing what getting some exercise and eating right will do for you.
Have an awesome day, Carol aka/ travelin

MY NEW BLOG SITE IS SET UP Thanks again to Brenda for putting my "dream" on the AH website. I have now set up a separate blog for anyone who wishes to contact me or discuss my idea. Just click on my name and it will take you to my site, click on YOUNG WIDOWS, and voila - there you are. There's also a photo of my husband and me on our wedding day that you might like to see. We all start out with such dreams, don't we, and too many times those dreams are shattered. Oh well...life goes on.
Hope everyone's having a great beginning for 2006. I'm back at work tomorrow.

Good News!!

I heard from Babette ... and she is away right now ... without computer access ... and doing fine! Feeling 'loved' (ha ha) - because of everyones concern. She doesn't know why her Blog is gone - but will set up a new one when she returns. She also says 'Hi'! Anyway - just wanted to pass along the good news!

I'm dealing with a plumbing nightmare right now ... and was out buying and putting together a Wet/Dry Vac last night ... instead of being online! I'm an expert now at cleaning up soaking wet carpeting ... as about 1/2 of the downstairs of my Condo is wet or damp from a slab leak that created a back up that created an overflowing washing machine (which was not even turned on)! So ... needless to say ... I am having lots of 'fun'! NOT!!! I have so many work projects on right now too ... so trying to juggle being home for all of the repair work and keeping up with my schedule has been tricky. But ... I am hanging in there ... and the good news is that I somehow got my AC working again (don't ask me how - I think some divine intervention must have happened - because it hasn't worked for months) ... and my Ice Maker was not working - but by having the cable removed and replaced during the repair work - it is now also working. And best news - is that the Condo Association will pay for all of the plumbing work (which involved drilling a huge - I mean really huge - hole in my kitchen floor) ... and paying $300 flat rate to a 'Sleuth' - who came with his fancy electronic monitors to find the leak. So - as you can see - I am starting the new year off - not with a 'bang' ... but with a 'leak'! : ) Ooooh - that was sooooo bad. hee hee

Have been getting lots of positive comments about the updated web and new blog for AH. If you haven't checked it out - be sure to take a look! And ... if you are interested in going to Mexico with Jackie, Connie, Chandra, Carol, Vanessa, me (and maybe a few others) - in February - please get in touch with me and I'll give you more info. It is going to be such a fun trip! Can hardly wait!! Only 36 days to go!!

Have a good one!

Hi Ada,
I am in the Miami area. Unfortunatly I will be in Orlando still on the 3rd of February. I will be going back and forth between the 2 places for the next few weeks. Time to put my required hours in at Disney, while it is still cool. Otherwise I would come keep you company.
Time to get ready for church, and my sons picnic today. The temperature is supposed to go up to 70. Enough of the cold.
Have an awesome day everyone. Carol

I especially love the descriptions

powers!!! Is there a stone for
creativity and do you wear it?
You've done some great research and really
personalized each piece!!! No wonder they're
all sold!!! I think you should be in some high
end store or catalogue!!! RODEO DRIVE?
I can't wait to read and see more images!!!

WOW Sunni!!!
You are too kind.......I am beet red...blushing!!!
Yes....one of my my personal favorite stones is
Labradorite ( from our Northern Labrador!!) used for courage, clariy and co-dependance!! Stunning stone....you can see it on the first page of my new Blog.......it is a greyish stone with a deep firey inner blue that shines through...it almost seems alive!!!...
I also recently have come to adore Amazonite..inspires faith and hope!! It also is a magnificent stone... a unique pale greenish colour with striations of darker green and white thoughout.
You can also see this stone on the second page of my site!
It is incredible but each time someone picks a necklace, unbenounced to them or to me, the stones spiritual properties turn out to be the perfect match for them, meant to be!!...it truly astounds me each time.... at times it is like adopting out children (my necklaces!) to the perfect parent!! Now you can understand why I am so impassioned about my work!! plus why it is my "drug of choice"!!! Yah!!
I consider myeself very fortunate to have found a creative outlet and self expression that I can share with others who appreciate from whence it comes!!
Have a great Sunny day and thanks again!!
Stay tuned....I will now get to work posting more photos today!! I have so many to do!!

A slow start to the day. My favorite neighbor is home and still sick with an upper resparatory infection. He gave it to me of course. Just watching movies and keeping him company.

Your jokes du jour have
kept the us ROTFL and
definitely helped me start
the day with a smile and
a chuckle in my heart.
I know when my boyfriend was diagnosed
with cancer when we were just 21yo, he
constantly joked about it and I'm sure that
his attitude helped him beat the odds. Now
he's 60yo and going strong.
So, maybe we should help lighten RR's days,
too. Hopefully he'll keep the blog going,
and time appropriate, we can start leaving
lighter messages over there.

Brenda,
I'll be thinking of you on Valentine's Day

My thoughts and prayers go out to Richard, his family and friends.

When I got home this afternoon and turned on my computer...the sad news hit me...I thank Richard for being so open and honest and sharing his very personal health issues with all of us. I'm glad that he was wise enough to see his doctor and follow through with his exams, tests, etc. So many ignore the symptoms for fear of what they may find out.

I hope that each of you visit your doctor regularly? Get those paps and mammograms...they could save your life.

Also, thanks for the tip for my son Mike. I think he'll eat the cool whip but I'll never get him to eat prunes...Actually, he's doing very well. I made him pasta tonight. He had a great oral surgeon and that made all the difference.

love and hugs to all and goodnight

Congrats to Cheryl, Beading Diva, your new site is filled with beautiful jewellry. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing this info with all of us. Some nice sunshiny rays being directed your way to dispel the gloom in the great White North today.

Ada, the jokes du jour were terrific. I had a good laugh today. It's been awhile since I came to Brenda's blog and it was fun to read through your past postings. Have a great time in CR and make your trip a memorable one.

To everyone of you posting here, have a safe and great weekend and may the forces be with you all.

January get-together cancelled in Paso Robles

I regret to inform everyone that our January get-together is not going to happen due to some conflicting schedules but....we will try to make something happen in the Spring! maybe March or April? Maybe we can get together in San Francisco, spend a night there, then head south to Santa Cruz...spend a night there, then head down to Paso Robles...spend a night here...and end up in LA or even San Diego depending on how many days we're talking about? We can pick up new travellers along the way or we can all travel together! How does this sound? We have lots of time to plan something so let either Lin or myself know if you might be interested.

We'll post something when we get some feedback...so let us know if you have any ideas for our"Travelling get-together" on my blog or on Callmelin's...thanks

Thanks Enid! Hang on down there - in all that wind! We had some windy weather here too ... and temps dropped a bit. But it was beautiful yesterday and today here in Tampa! And my carpets are all dry now - and I have someone coming in the morning to pour concrete in the hole in the floor - so that is all going okay. Thanks for your concern. It was quite a nightmare - especially because it was over the holiday weekend.

Hey Cheryl - that sounds like a great trip 'out West' - and how great that Dale is going to cook for all of you amazing ladies! We expect great reports on all of that!! Please, please - someone post a pic while you are all together!! That would be so cool!

Hi Willemina. So sorry to hear that plans for your get-together are not working out. There is still time to get in on the trip to Playa, in Mexico - that runs any time between February 10 - 20th. People are coming in at various times ... and it is going to be a fun trip. So - please feel free for any of your group to join in with us. If anyone is interested - you can find out more info at:
The Great Escape Web

You can also send me an Email at:
brenda@thegreatescapeweb.com
and I can send you the Password. Would be great to have more people joining us!

Thanks to my 'Matchmaking' efforts - sending guys from Match.com to Connie and Jackie - I actually had someone start communicating with me - who turns out to be quite nice ... very intelligent ... and great sense of humor. Who knows where it will go ... but it is fun doing that 'getting to know you' stuff. : )

Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. I shared about mine on the AH Blog: AH BLOG

Have a great one, Everybody!!

Regards,
Brenda

She is coming home from a Rehab Center on Thursday and will need assistance at home for a while, maybe longer.

Great to catch up on everyone's life and sounds like some great trips coming up, I want to go on all of them. What can I do for MOney????

Love to all, I will try to post some pics on my travels, when I get a chance.

Hey Cathy!! Welcome Back! Boy, have we missed you! So glad to see your smiling face!

SO EVERYONE ... if you don't have anything to do tonight ... you might want to check out the Golden Globes! I will be watching tonight - to cheer on my 'nephew-in-law', Jake - as his movie 'A History of Violence' is up for Best Picture and 'Best Supporting Actress in Motion Pic - Drama' (Maria Bello). And 'In Her Shoes' is up for 'Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Pic' (Shirley McLaine). Jake's Sister, Jennifer Weiner wrote the book 'In Her Shoes'. So we are cheering for that as well! And - Reese Witherspoon is up for 'Best Performance' in 'Walk the Line'. The reason that matters - is Resse is one of April's (my nieces) best friends. So - I will root for her too! So ... fingers crossed!!

If you don't watch the GG's - I'll be reporting back later tonight ... or tomorrow ... and I'll post pics on my 'Name Dropping' site - as soon as they arrive! So exciting! : )

Have a great night!! Happy Viewing!

Brenda

Thanks Leslie!

Yeah Reese!! She won!!

I was on the phone (with a Match guy) : ) ... and have missed everything - except Reese ... but have been recording so that I can catch up. But I know the 'big ones' are still to come!

So fun!

Thanks Cheryl! I loved that pic of April too. She is too cute. And did you see - they actually really did have 'Golden Globe' cookies. Too funny.

They didn't win ... but ... for Jake to have his first major film (shot in Canada, by the way) receive the nomination for Best Pic is pretty cool - to me! I am still very, very proud!! : )

I goofed though ... and wrote to April about Reese - forgetting that they didn't start the broadcast in LA until later. Whoops! Reese had just won the Award when I was writing. April said she was glad to know. She is a good niece. : ) Also - she corrected me ... and said that she knows Reese - but they aren't 'best friends'. So - apologies for that mistake.

Anyway - was exciting night! Because - besides the Golden Globes - I had a 2 1/2 hour conversation with this very cool guy that I met on Match.com. Was fun. : )

Night All! Sleep well!

Hi All,
Haven't posted much lately
but had to shout out a
Major congrats to CB
on your new gran-baby! What a
wonderful name!!! You must just
be over the moon...do they live close
enough so you can see the new babe ?

And to you too Brenda on Jake's movie
getting such an esteemed nomination!!! I
for one really liked the movie, gritty and
bloody as it was!! the story was incredible
about passing along those tendencies of
violence to our offspring...How exciting also
that Reese won...now we can hope for the
biggie..the OSCAR...for her!!!
I just think she is such a good actress but
the light comedies she normally acts in never get awards, so she is finally able to get her due
with this outstanding performance.

Only news on my end is that my best friends
niece is Sasha Cohen and just won the ice
skating Nationals gold medal and is going to
the Olympics!!! We all get together whenever
she is competing, and feel like her aunties!!!
cheering her on!!!

So, who's going to Tucson? and Dale is
cooking? that just sounds too fun to pass
up?

Brenda Thought I'd share with you (and others who read over here) that my sister got bad news the other day. She has breast cancer. She's an RN and knows all the right people so will be fine, I'm sure. She's going in for surgery Feb. 9th but won't know what the treatment will be until afterwards. Her doctor told her it's NOT life-threatening, but it's still an awful shock. I hope everyone will keep her in your prayers - her name is Robin. Thanks a lot.

ClickGirl said...

Hi Leslie,

I am so sorry to hear about your sister being diagnosed with Breast Cancer! Please know that she will be in my thoughts and prayers - as she goes through this difficult process. Today there are amazing treatments - and even in the nearly five years since my diagnosis - they have new ways of handling things. If she just has a lump - they can very successfully remove it and do radiation treatment - and have great results with that. My bosses wife is a 12 year cancer survivor - with that treatment. I checked into that - but was not so fortunate - but no complaints here! I am alive ... and 'kicking'. : )

At any rate, please keep us posted on Robin - and let her know that she has a community of women who will be lifting her up. And you! My sisters were so affected by my diagnosis. I sometimes think it was as hard on them - as me. My youngest sister told me one day - 'remember ... that we are going through this too' - and she just started crying. I hadn't realized how much she was hurting too. So - know that you will be in our hearts too. Robin is lucky to have you 'there' for her.

Warm regards,
Brenda

Leslie: said...

Thanks Brenda and others - for your support. We both know about the wonderful advances in breast cancer treatment but...Robin has a bit of a complication. She has been on disability for several years now for cardiomyopathy. She has heart disease, too. The doctors are checking her out to see if radiation will be an option because it could worsen her heart condition. But, we'll all take one day at a time and be there for her. Thanks again for your support and I'll let you know how things go.

Please know I will be sending prayers for Robin, your sister, at this most difficult time. Hopefully she will feel the love that Women and Men all over the world are sending to her for her recovery.

Knowing Brenda is a "Survivor" is good to focus on also. My prayers will be that Robin will be a "Survivor" also!

Can't believe it is finally here! Jackie, Connie, Chandra, Carol and another Connie (friend of mine) will be meeting up with me in Playa del Carmen, Mexico this coming weekend - for an amazing week long trip! My sister just phoned with the bad news that her breast cancer is not going to be a lumpectomy as previously thought. It is now going to have to be a mastectomy. The good news is that it is contained and none of the muscle wall will have to be removed. She cannot have chemo, and radiation could cause a heart attack (she already has cardiomyopathy) so she has a lot of reading material to go over before the surgery. She sees the plastic surgeon on the 23rd (or sooner if she can get in) and will go for reconstruction if at all possible. Robin (sis) sounds extremely tired and stressed out but is trying very hard to maintain a positive attitude as the doctor has said it is not life threatening. But the complication is her heart. So...I'd appreciate warm wishes and prayers from all my friends here for our whole family. We haven't told our Dad yet because he's dealing with his own colon cancer and we're afraid this could just do him in. Thanks for letting me vent here, everyone.

ClickGirl said...

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for sharing about your sis. I'm so sorry to hear that lumpectomy was not an option. I was in the same situation - and with Ductal Carcinoma - I had to go with another alternative. I also opted to go with a bilateral - because I felt strongly that I would eventually have it hit the other side (w/o realizing that I already had beginning stages of Ductal and Lobular on that side - which wasn't determined until they did the biopsy - after the mastectomy). At any rate, I went for immediate reconstruction - because, from everything that I read, it was easier to do it all at the same time. I'm glad that I went with that decision. It was right for me (and that is the most important thing - to do what works for the individual). I am also on the trial and study for the new silicone implants as well - which were placed behind the muscle.

At any rate, reading and knowing as much as possible is so key to making the best decisions for your situation - so it sounds like your sister is starting out doing the wise thing. American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen sites were my favorites for info and message boards. Ironically, my mastectomy was 2/27/01. That day I will celebrate - as that was the day the cancer was gone.

I hope and pray that your sister will do well - with whatever decision she goes with ... and that she will have the inner strength and positive attitude to carry her through. All of your family will be in my prayers!

My warmest regards,

Brenda

P.S. If your sister needs someone who has 'been through it' to write to or talk to - please feel free to send her my Email: clickgirl50@hotmail.com
It can be a daunting experience ... but survivable! I'm also working on a new journal type Blog - sharing my cancer experience and my writing during that time. I'll send you the link when I have more completed (it only has one intro entry at the moment).

California Get-Together

Some of us are getting together in the Los Angeles area soon and I would like anyone interested to send me an e-mail or post a message on my blog so we can make some plans.

Ada will be flying in from Baltimore, MD either the weekend of Feb 23-25 or March 2-4. I spoke with Lin in Santa Cruz and she is planning to drive to Paso Robles to meet up with me and then I will drive down to LA. I was thinking...maybe we could book a couple or a few rooms at the Ayres in Manhattan Beach (depending how many are interested.

Either weekend works for me and also for Lin...we just need to know what works best for most so that Ada (or anyone else) can make their travel plans...so time is of the essence.

I hope to meet some of you in LA!

willemina said...

I have received a few e-mails re the California get-together...

Michelle and Sylvia send their regrets as the timing is wrong for them...other committments...but...
I did receive notes from Tricia, Lois, Suzanne, and Doris (aka Neva)
and it looks like most of them can make the March dates so let's go with March 2 thru Mar 5th. If you can come for only one or two days...that's fine too. I'll probably spend 3 nights...Thur, Fri and Sat and return home on Sunday March 5th. I'll post again when I have more information...

Hello friends

I have posted new info on my blog for those interested in joining us in Los Angeles March 2-5. So far it looks like 6 or 7 of us...the more, the merrier...ALL are welcome. If you can't make it this time...THERE WILL BE ANOTHER...I PROMISE!!!

Hi from me, too, Brenda! What are you up to lately? Do you have any more photos of the Mexico trip ready to go up? We MISS you! :D

ClickGirl said...

Hi Everyone!

Sorry that I haven't been on here for ages! Mexico was exciting ... and I've been working every free moment on getting the photos together ... and I'm getting close! Arrived home sick (not from food - but from a cold) after an exhausting 15 hour trip (more on that later) ... then have had a very crazy work schedule ... and been plagued by the highest pollen index in our cities history (cough, cough, cough). So ... hope to get back to the Blogs soon - and will let you know as soon as the link to the photos is up. Keeping my fingers crossed to have them up this coming weekend. With having people in Playa for 11 or 12 days - we just have tons and tons of photos!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Brenda

Leslie: said...

Hi Brenda great to hear from you! We're all waiting and anticipating the photos! will you put them on here or on the Great Escape website? Take good care of yourself.

Hi Leslie,

Thanks much! I'll be putting them on the Great Escape Web ... but will put the link here too. I just finished one more page. : ) There are photos from three cameras - so there are lots and lots of pics. Twenty one pages! Will keep you posted!

Later.
