It's All About ... ME!

WELCOME!

Thanks for stopping by my Blog!

By way of explaining ... my header isn't intended to be a comment of 'ego' ... but, rather, a comment of gratitude.

Just last week I passed my 6 year mark of being Cancer-free. So ... I am feeling so glad to be 'Me' ... and to be alive in this world. It's a great feeling!

So ... please celebrate with me ... as I dedicate this Blog Post ... to 'Me' ... by sharing one of my favorite quotes - from Leo Buscaglia.

Life ... indeed ... is good!

Hi Brenda,
Congratulations on another year of being cancer free.
I found out I didn't need more eye surgery anytime soon in January. So I went out and bought myself a motorcycle. A life long dream of mine. My safety course is next week.
The Miami Boat Show has come and gone. Crazy busy again. But I love working it. I am back to my regular job again. No down time.
The kids are great. I love having the youngest home after 5 years of schooling and life. He moves into his own place this weekend with his best friend.
Have an awesome day!!
Carol

Hi Brenda! and congrats on feeling free to be you. Went down to Manhattan Beach to the SB reunion and had a blast. The girls were so much fun and there were actually a few men there, too. Not that I cared, really. lol Then Suzanne (aka desertflowers) and I drove through the Mojave Desert and over the mountains to visit her Mom. Beautiful area of California! (some cute cowboys live there, too) Back to the task of writing again - I think I'm going to go back to water aerobics, too. Still raining up here and getting REAL sick of it!

Oh my gosh! I converted over to the new Blogger (where you have to sign in through Google) ... and have been having problems getting on here. I've written two long messages ... and lost both. So ... trying again. Fingers crossed!

Thanks Carol and Leslie - for writing!

Carol - Wow! An 'Easy Rider' in our midst! Have fun ... but be careful! And - I understand how you feel about your son coming back home. My oldest moved in and out a few times ... before settling down in his own place. Now he is 30, and living with Mom is not an option anymore (in his mind). : ) Anyway - it's fun to have them around.

And Leslie - the Reunion sounds like it was such fun. Thanks for sharing the photos on your Blog. It was fun to see those. I wish I had been able to go out and meet up with everyone. Maybe next time. I just think it's great that people are still meeting up - after all this time that has gone by - and that new relationships are being built ... and original ones continued. So glad you were able to go to MB.

Okay ... I'm going to try this ... one ... more ... time. : )

Happy Day to ALL,

Brenda

Persistence and patience Brenda :)

I have the same problems with the new blogger and tend to forget my new password at the worst possible times LOL

Happy 6th Anniversary to you my dear and may you continue on this wonderful path for a long time to come.

Saludos

Hi Enid,

Glad to hear that it's not just me having problems (ha ha). I guess it will just take a while to get used to it ... and to get the new info etched in my brain. : ) I'm so used to the old one - and it's hard to change - and remember to put in the whole Email address (which is also much longer). Oh well. I'll suffer through. Ha Ha

Thanks for the well wishes. I can't believe it has been 6 years! Amazing!

Hope all is well with everyone!

Later!

Brenda
