A New Happy Blog!

Stay loose. Learn to watch snails. Plant an impossible Garden. Invite someone dangerous to tea. Make little signs that say 'yes'! and post them all over your house. Make friends with freedom and uncertainty. Look forward to Dreams. Cry during movies. Swing as high as you can on a swing set, by moonlight. Cultivate moods. Refuse to "be responsible". Do it for love. Take lots of naps. Give money away. Do it now.. The money will follow. Believe in Magic. Laugh a lot. Celebrate every gorgeous moment. Take moon baths. Have wild imaginings, Transformative Dreams, and perfect calm. Draw on the walls. Read every day. Imagine yourself Magic. Giggle with children. Listen to old people. Bless yourself. Play with everything. Entertain your inner child. You are innocent. Build a fort with blankets. Get wet. Hug a tree. Write love letters.

Hi, I was out blog surfing look for the latest information on writing conferences, and I came across your blog.

Obviously I ended up off base from what I was searching for, but that's cool! I hate to take anything for granted, and would like to add your blog to my links list, which is available to the world, but would like to have your permission first. Would that be okay?

Hey Cheryl! Welcome Back! We have really missed you! Loved the pics! Thanks for sharing!!

Hi CJ - I'm like Babette - I'm now hooked on Blogging - but before ... I actually was hooked on computer games - like Moraff Mahjongg and the 1000 Solitaire Games and Board type games. But the worst - is Pipeline. I'm almost embarrassed to admit this.

I told one of my crews about this one time. Before shows, we have to sit for 30-40 minutes waiting for shows to begin - and we are all on headset - just talking about 'whatever' ... and sometimes the guys will play games while they wait. So I was admitting to them that I was hooked on Pipeline - and then I showed it to them. Now all of my crew guys are 20's to mid 30's ... and they were surprised that I was into that game - and that I was so good at it (ha ha). Anyway - the next show - I had been up until 2 a.m. the morning before - and was saying how tired I was. They all jumped in and said it was probably because I was up late playing Pipeline. I cracked up - after wondering how they knew I played Pipeline (ha ha ha). My memory is sooooo bad ... that I had forgotten all about that 'trivia' conversation. : )

Anyway - that's my vice - where games are concerned!

The Gamer,

Brenda

Thanks Dale! I was in a particularly 'bright' mood when doing this new Blog. : ) Glad you like the colors. They are not so easy to do. Each word has to be highlighted and colored ... so I must be really weird that I will spend that much time - just to color words. (ha ha)

Colorfully,

Brenda

Hey Chi-Town Gal! You -do- -not- want Pipetown! Ha Ha! It took me a long time to find it ... because I had played it several years ago when I was in a boring job and didn't go out for lunch. That was my lunch entertainment. I finally found it again ... from Superluminal. Try Googling ... and see if you can find it. If not - remind me and I'll try to send more info when I get back ... from your lovely city ... Chi-Town!! I can hardly wait! I love your city!

See you soon! : )

Brenda
P.S. I posted on your Blog - and said I needed to know where that Starbucks is ... and wondered if we could meet there? Whatcha think?

YOU ARE IN CHICAGO! YEAH! I hope you have the most wonderful time!!
I can't wait for all the pics and updates!!
LaDolce: I was playing a game called Runescapes, but I have decided it is too dark for me. In order to make higher levels you have to kill other people and steal stuff from them. I didn't really understand how it worked until after I had put quite a bit of time into it. I like the kinds of games where you have to figure out how to do something on your own, without lots of help, etc. Kind of a puzzle type game, but one in which you can advance. I got kind of sick of Mario because even though you can advance it is more about different moves you learn to play than it is about being ingenious and figuring things out. I have never heard of Pipeline, and from what Brenda says I should stay away. I think I will just go back to bridge maybe. It is just you get some real grouchy people who play bridge sometimes, so it is fun to play games where you have the chance to interact with people but not have to talk if you don't want to, lol....
Peace,
CJ
